The City Government of Palma de Mallorca envisaged to improve its public transport system for its residents and the increasing amount of tourists through a modern and highly attractive Light Rail System.Angelika Zwicky acted as project manager for a fact-finding study and the elaboration of a preliminary project outline. Investigations comprised the potential alignment, stations, depots, operational concept, rough construction and operation cost estimates and the elaboration of a road map towards realisation. The project ought to be realised as Public-Private Partnership (BOOT).
