Description:
In close co-operation with the Macedonian Ministry of Transport and the Railway company, a feasibility study was conducted for the new rail link between Macedonia and Bulgaria along the Trans European (TEN-) Corridor No. VIII. Selected tasks: Traffic demand forecasting, Cost Benefit Analysis, sensitivity and risk analysis, financing options, and a project man­agement system for planning and construction works was introduced (time, cost, resources and quality monitoring and control, contract management), engineering assistance and training for railway staff was delivered.
